Description
Used to cover round bales of hay or crop residue. Helps to retard nutrient loss & leaf loss in bales stored outside. Sheds water more efficiently than twine. Also makes round bales more transportable. Red strip near end of roll to warn when the end of the roll is near. Over edge rolls have extra width of netwrap so that the netwrap will wrap over the outside edges/shoulders of the bale to provide extra water shedding protection.
48″ wide netwrap fits 4′ X 4′, 4′ X 5′ bales
64″ wide netwrap fits 5′ X 5′ bales.
51″ wide provides extra over edge protection for 4′ X 4′, 4′ X 5′ bales
67″ wide provides extra over edge protection for 5′ X 5′ bales
Most users will use 40′ – 60′ of netwrap for a 5′ diameter bale and 44′ – 66′ for a 6′ diameter bale. One roll of netwrap does approximately 175 to 275 bales depending on size, baler, number of wraps and a variety of other factors. Consult with your baler manufacturer for more specific information.
