50 lb bag. Augusta Co-Op’s premium baby calf feed. Contains Diamond V yeast, cottonseed hulls, and high quality steam flaked grains. Medicated with Rumensin for coccidiosis control. Clarifly is also added during the summer months for control of house and stable flies. Monensin 35 grams/ton (17.5 mg/lb). Crude Protein min 22.0%. Crude Fat min 3.0%. Crude Fiber max 9.0%. Hand feed continuously to calves to provide 0.14 – 1 mg monensin/lb of bodyweight depending upon severity of challenge, up to a maximum of 200 mg monensin/hd/day. Hand feed continuously beginning at 5 days of age, a minimum of 0.8 lbs per 100 lbs of bodyweight. Fresh water should always be available. The feeding of top quality hay is optional up to weaning. After weaning, feed top quality hay free choice and continue to offer at the minimum rate of 0.8 lbs per 100 lbs of bodyweight. Gradually change the calves to Augusta Co-Op Calf Ration (sold separately) at 4 months of age. It is assumed that calves ad libitum intake will not be more than 4% of bodyweight. Do not exceed 11.43 lbs of feed per head per day as this supplies the maximum 200 mg monensin/hd/day. DO NOT Feed To Horses Or Other Equines. Ingestion of Monensin or Lasalocid by equines has been fatal. This feed contains medication. Please read label carefully.
