Description
3.8 cu. ft. bale. Enriches all types of soil. Suited for indoor and outdoor horticultural applications. It conditions all soils by improving aeration, water drainage, and nutrient/water retention. Used as a soil amendment for gardens as well as for preparation and restoration of lawns. High organic matter. Reduces the need for frequent watering. Ensures maximum root system development.
Use approximately 1 compressed cubic foot for every 20 sq. feet of garden area.
Trees, shrubs, and Roses – Prepare the hole 2 times the diameter of the root ball. Mix peat moss into soil at bottom of the hole. Work around roots. Fill remaining area w/ mixture of equal parts soil and peat moss.
Mulching – Apply 2-4″ layer of peat moss.
Flower beds and lawns – mix 2″ with 4-6″ of soil
Bulbs – Mix 1 part peat moss, 1 part soil, and 1 part sand and put into hole. Place bulb in mixture.
Window boxes – Mix 2 parts peat moss, 1 part soil, and 1 part sand for planting media.
