Pneu-Dart, Type U, 5 cc X 1/2″, Yellow, 5 Pack

Description

For use in conjunction with the Pneudart model 1178B air projector gun (sold separately) to remotely administer antibiotics and other select animal health drugs to livestock in the field without having to get them in a corral. Useful for situations such as pinkeye, foot rot, in the field injury, etc where it may not be feasible or it may be too stressful to get the animal to a corral. Darts feature an alumium tubing for ballistic stability and are easy to fill. Also features a green gelatin collar which discharges the liquid material out of the end of the cannula (needle) only. After a couple of minutes, the gelatin collar liquefies which allows the dart to fall out of the animal if it has not already done so.
