Description
Contains 25% prometon. A non-selective herbicide that provides total vegetation control in industrial sites, non-crop areas, around the farm, and in and under asphalt. Will inhibit plant growth for a year or more. Primary activity is through the roots of plants. For best results, apply before weeds emerge or when weeds are young and actively growing. Can be applied up to 3 months after weed emergence.
For control of annual and susceptible perennials weeds and grasses such as downy bromegrass, oatgrass, goosegrass, quackgrass, goldenrod, and plantain, broadcast 4-6.125 gals in 50-100 gallons of water. For hard-to-kill perennial weeds and grasses such as Johnsongrass, bindweed, and wild carrot, broadcast 7.5-10 gallons in 50-100 gallons of water per acre. For faster top-kill of existing vegetation, apply in diesel fuel, fuel oil, or weed oil. When applying to small areas with backpack or pump up sprayers, mix 1/2-7/8 pt with water to obtain a total volume of 1 gallon and apply uniformly over a 500 sq ft area. Will not control woody vegetation such as small trees, brush, or woody vines.
